How to sell your saxophone See the saxophones in stock1989 Selmer sopranino saxophone, s/n 423150. This is likely one of the youngest Mark VI saxophones ever made. It was manufactured several years after Selmer introduced the Super Action 80 Series II line, but Selmer never changed its Mark VI sopranino design.
This sax could almost pass for a new horn. There is a small amount of lacquer loss on the high D key touch and a blemish near the low C key. Otherwise, it is very clean. The previous owner had the sax serviced shortly before I acquired it, so the horn feels locked in and plays easily in all registers.
I especially like that this sax is keyed to high F#. If you are investing in a sopranino, you are obviously looking for that ultra-high range, so the extra F and F# beyond the range of Yanagisawa’s sopranino is a nice plus.
The sax comes in its original case, which is also in great condition. It does not come with a mouthpiece, but Selmer and Vandoren both make mouthpieces for this model.
