Straight Keilwerth SX90R Alto Saxophone, Near Mint, Video

Keilwerth SX90R straight alto saxophone, s/n 101794. This saxophone was made in 1994, although it could almost pass for a new saxophone. The pads are in new condition and seal very well from top to bottom. There are very few imperfections and the original lacquer is almost 100% intact. The SX90R is Keilwerth's top of the line professional saxophone, and features rolled tone holes, adjustable palm keys and a high F# key. It plays well and draws attention. I have noticed that the timbre shifts depending on what the surface of the floor is. It sounds more natural to my ears playing over a hard surface compared to playing over carpet. I think the effect is less apparent for a listener, but there is a measurable difference in feedback from the player's perspective. The sax comes in its original case and even comes with a custom saxophone stand that fits the horn.
