175,xxx Selmer Mark VI Alto Saxophone, Original Lacquer, Just Serviced, Video
1970 Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone, s/n 175635. The saxophone retains its original lacquer and is in excellent playing condition. Most of the original pads are still present, and the horn has just received a service from my repairman who replaced three pads, four corks, and one felt. The remaining pads were regulated and are sealing well. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The sax comes in its original case.
This Mark VI plays with a very even scale from top to bottom. It responds easily and has the hallmark core and complexity that players seek from a great vintage Selmer.
