192,xxx Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone. Here's a great playing Mark VI that's right around the 200,xxx serial number range, which a lot of players gravitate toward. There's some extra presence and projection in the sound which makes them incredibly engaging, fun horns to play. This is a great playing horn that also happens to be a tremendous value.
This sax just received a full service from my repairman prior to sale. He replaced three pads and most of the corks and felts. The rest of the pads are a mix of newer and slightly older pads, but they look good overall. The sax doesn't have its original coat of lacquer. Aaron Barnard previously repaired the neck to fix the taper/angle. He also installed a flush mount plug to remove a mic pickup. The sax comes in its original Vanguard case.
