1927 225,xxx Buescher True Tone Soprano Saxophone, Just Serviced
1927 225,xxx Buescher soprano saxophone. Here is a gorgeous silver plated vintage Buescher soprano saxophone that has nearly 100% original silver plating. The sax just received a full service and hand polish from my repairman. The pads are on the older side, but seal very well and still have a lot of life left in them. The only cosmetic issue worth noting is that the previous owner engraved his name below the LH thumb rest. After discussing this area with my repairman, we decided to keep it as-is. This area can be buffed away, but we both felt that this was a part of the horn’s history and wanted to keep it as is. It's a very nice playing vintage soprano that plays with a ton of energy and character.
