How to sell your saxophone See the tenors in stock1939 King Zephyr Special tenor saxophone, s/n 237580. Considering its age, this is a remarkably preserved horn that still has its original coat of lacquer. The Zephyr Special was a precursor to the Super 20, and shares a lot in common with the first series Super 20's. The sax has mother of pearl on the left side keys, palm keys, G# key and octave key. The neck is sterling silver and has never been bent down. There are no resoldered areas on the sax.
The pads are in good condition overall and have at least 50% life left. They are affixed with flat metal riveted resonators. The sax comes in a Pro Tec case.
