How to sell your saxophone See the altos in stock1940 Selmer Balanced Action alto saxophone, s/n 29520. Here's a gorgeous vintage Selmer alto that was recently overhauled by the previous owner. The pads are still in new condition, and utilize domed rivetless metal resonators, similar in profile to what this horn originally came with. The silver plating is nearly 100% intact and still looks great. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The horn itself is remarkably clean and doesn't show any evidence of major repairs or significant dents. My tech just serviced the sax, so the entire range speaks effortlessly. The sax comes in a modern hard shell case. This is a gorgeous sounding horn that captures the sweetness and lyricism that this model is known for.
