How to sell your saxophone See the altos in stock1945 King Zephyr Special alto saxophone, s/n 273952. Considering its age, this is a remarkably preserved horn that still has its original coat of lacquer, with approximately 98% remaining. The Zephyr Special was a precursor to the Super 20, and shares a lot in common with the first series Super 20's. The sax has mother of pearl on the left side keys, palm keys, G# key, alternate F# key, and octave key. The neck is sterling silver and has never been bent down. There are no resoldered areas on the sax.
My tech just serviced the horn prior to sale. Many of the pads appear to be original, so although the sax is playing well currently, a repad is likely necessary at some point in the future.
