1946 King Super 20 Tenor Saxophone, First Series, Full Pearls, Video
1946 King Super 20 tenor saxophone, s/n 278526. This is a first series Super 20, made in the second year of production of this model. It has mother of pearl key touches on the side and palm keys, as well as the octave key alt F# key, and G# key. Two of the rollers are mother of pearl, and the rest are replacements. The pads are still in great shape and have a lot of life left. The sax has flat riveted metal resonators, similar to what this horn originally had. The lacquer is not original, but it appears to be quite old. There is some dentwork on the sax including a couple areas on the neck, bow and in the palm key area. Also, it looks like the palm key cluster attachment has been resoldered in the past. The sax comes in a soft leather case and will be very carefully packaged for shipment.
