1949 Conn 10M tenor saxophone, s/n 334880. This sax was just serviced by my tech prior to sale. He replaced a handful of pads, adjusted and regulated the rest, and the horn now plays effortlessly from top to bottom. It has that huge, warm, dark sound that made the 10M a legend.
The horn is in excellent condition overall, especially for its age. While the lacquer doesn’t appear to be original, the engraving is still sharp and beautifully detailed. Cosmetically, it’s clean and well cared for, with no major dents or damage. It comes in the original Conn case, which is also in excellent condition.
