1950 43,xxx Selmer Super Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone
1950 Selmer Super Balanced Action SBA tenor saxophone, s/n 43329. This sax was previously owned by a top local pro who is the lead tenor player in a DC military jazz band. The sax was overhauled one year ago by Eric Beach and recently serviced by Kim Bock. The sax has Pisoni Pro pads and domed rivetless resonators. The pads are still in like new condition. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The lacquer is likely not original, but the engraving looks great. The sax plays exceptionally well in all registers and can whisper effortlessly down to low Bb. It has a gorgeous, open sound and offers great projection. It comes in a ProTec case.
