1951 45,xxx Selmer Super Balanced Action Alto Saxophone, 90% Original Lacquer
1951 45,xxx Selmer Super Balanced Action (SBA) alto saxophone with approximately 90% original lacquer. This sax just received a full setup from my repairman prior to sale. It has a new set of roo pads that the previous owner installed. The key heights were too closed for my taste, so I had them opened up to a typical SBA setup. Wow, what a difference it makes! This horn now sings with a beautiful yet powerful sound. The neck is original to the horn and has a matching serial number.
