How to sell your saxophone See the altos in stock1951 Selmer Super Balanced Action alto saxophone, s/n 45149. This saxophone has its original lacquer with approximately 90% remaining. This horn was previously owned by Justin Mendez, who is the lead tenor player in the Navy Commodores. It was overhauled by John Ledbetter in 2023, and the pads are still in excellent condition. My repairman just serviced the horn, so the pads seal perfectly. The horn plays effortlessly in all registers. The neck is original to the horn and has a matching serial number. It has never been bent down. This is a great vintage for SBA altos, and just a couple thousand away from Paul Desmond's 43,xxx SBA.
