72,xxx Selmer tenor saxophone made in 1957. The horn just received a full overhaul and thorough cleaning from DC's best repairman. All the pads, felts and corks were replaced, so everything seals perfectly and the horn should be maintenance free for years. The lacquer is not original, but structurally the horn is in very good condition. The neck is perfect and has never been pulled down. The serial number on the neck matches the sax.
 
This is a really fun mark VI to play.  It has a very direct, full sound. The tone still possesses the complexity that 5-digit Mark VI tenors are famous for.  The neck on this horn is amazing.  I like it much more than the neck on my personal Mark VI and would be tempted to swap it out if it weren't for the matching serial numbers! The sax comes in a non-original 1950's Selmer USA case which is in decent condition.
