How to sell your saxophone See the altos in stock1969 King Silver Sonic alto saxophone, s/n 450883. Here's a stunning King Silver Sonic, which features a sterling bell and neck, and has the rare gold plated inlay and inner bell. The saxophone is in excellent condition with 98% original lacquer remaining. My tech just serviced the horn, so the pads seal well and speak in all registers. This is an early Eastlake model, produced in Eastlake, OH, shortly after the factory moved from Cleveland. The neck is a single socket neck, which gives it a bigger, beefier sound. The pads are older but still have some life left in them. The sax comes in the original case.
