200,xxx Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone with 99%+ original lacquer. Here is an impeccable Mark VI that just received a full mechanical overhaul from Aaron Barnard, one of the best repair techs in the business. The horn is in great condition with almost all of its lacquer still intact. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The bell flare is perfect. Some dings were removed mainly in the bell and bow, but the horn is very straight and looks great. The sax comes in its original case, along with the original warranty card.
The sax plays as good as it looks. Aaron used Pisoni Pro pads along with domed nylon resonators, similar to what this horn was originally equipped with. The horn feels locked in, focused, and is playing perfectly in all registers. The keywork feels tight almost like a brand new horn. Aaron's work is top notch and this horn should need nothing for years.
