277,xxx Selmer Mark VI Baritone Saxophone, Low A, Original Lacquer
1978 Selmer Mark VI baritone saxophone, s/n 277239. This saxophone is keyed to low A, an optional feature on Mark VI baritones that is highly desirable today. Much of the modern baritone saxophone repertoire calls for low A, making it an essential feature for many players.
This saxophone is in excellent overall condition. The original lacquer is well preserved, with only minor signs of use. Many of the pads appear to be original, but they remain in good condition and are currently sealing well. The saxophone plays very well throughout its full range. It comes in a hard contoured case that fits the instrument well.
