641,xxx Selmer Super Action Series II Baritone Saxophone, Just Serviced
Selmer Series II baritone saxophone, s/n 641,xxx. This saxophone was recently acquired from a local musician who played it regularly for 3-4 years before being put away for the next several. Based on the serial number, I estimate that it was manufactured around 2004. The overall condition is quite good. There are some scratches from honest use, and my repairman performed some minor dentwork. He also serviced the sax, ensuring that the pads are sealing perfectly. The sax feels locked in and plays effortlessly down to low A. This is a great sounding horn that compares favorably to a new Selmer, yet costs about half of a new one. The sax comes in a gently used ProTec case.
