Berg Larsen Duck Bill Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece 105 1 Offset M, Mouthpiece Doc!
Vintage Berg Larsen "Duck Bill" 105 1 Offset M tenor saxophone mouthpiece. This is a souped up version with an added baffle and reface by John Reilly, aka The Mouthpiece Doctor. Not too many people take on stainless steel mouthpiece work because of how durable the metal is, but John's work is extraordinary and this mouthpiece really sings. The baffle gives the sound some extra brightness and punch. The tip opening measures .110".
The overall condition is good. There is a horizontal scratch on the lower LH rail that doesn't affect the way the mouthpiece plays and responds. Otherwise, the table, tip and rails all look nearly perfect. The original black bite plate is missing and was replaced by a pink acrylic.
