Couf saxophones were made by Keilwerth and have a wonderful reputation in the sax world for having a gorgeous, huge sound and presence. This sax is in excellent physical condition with 99%+ original lacquer. There are few scratches. My repairman took out a couple small dings on the back side of the bell, but otherwise, the sax appears to be dent free. My repairman replaced six pads and two key corks. The rest of the pads are mostly on the older side but still serviceable and sealing well. The case is original, and has a faint old case smell to it. The sax has straight tone holes.
