Early 1900's H. Selmer paris alto saxophone mouthpiece. These Selmer mouthpieces are documented on Theo Wanne's excellent Selmer mouthpiece history webpage as being Selmer's first mouthpiece design from the early 1900's. It has a large chamber and scooped out side walls.
Considering its age, this mouthpiece is in excellent condition. The table, tip and rails look great. It's hand faced so impossible for me to tell if the facing is original. It's quite closed by today's standards. The tip opening measures .051".
