Flamingo Edition Selmer Reference 54 Alto Saxophone, Near Mint
Selmer Reference 54 alto saxophone, s/n 706848. Beginning in 2005, Selmer produced five different “Bird” series saxophones to commemorate Charlie Parker. The Flamingo was the third edition, introduced in 2007, with 110 standard altos and 30 limited altos made. This example is one of the limited edition models, distinguished by its black pearl key touches.
The saxophone is in near-mint, almost unplayed condition. The pads remain in like-new condition and seal well throughout the full range of the instrument. It comes in the original case, which is also in excellent condition.
