Brilhart Ebolin alto saxophone mouthpiece, s/n 54475. I've owned this mouthpiece for 12 years and it's been in regular rotation since then. I'm not using it as much lately, so it's time to pass it along to someone who will use it more than I am.
This mouthpiece arrived with a cracked shank, which is unfortunately quite common with these older Brilharts. I sent it to Sakshama for the crack to be repaired and for a refacing. He added a metal band to the base of the mouthpiece, so the crack is stabilized and will never be an issue again. He also refaced the mouthpiece, to .074".
It's a great playing mouthpiece that is free blowing and has some great punch and projection.
