King Super 20 Silver Sonic tenor saxophone, s/n 454217. Here's a great playing Silver Sonic Super 20 that was just serviced by my repairman prior to sale. He replaced 8 pads, regulated the rest, and cleaned the sax prior to sale. He also replaced an old mic pickup on the neck with a flush mounted plug. The sax was refinished at some point in the past. It comes in a ProTec case.
This vintage is known for having some extra presence and power, likely due to the single socket neck. The sax has waffle resonators, which also brighten up the tone and response. The end result is a Super 20 that has a ton of power and presence. This is a fun horn to play, and one that will never have any difficulty powering through a full horn or rhythm section.
