Otto Link Reso Chamber Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece, Phil Barone Reface, .105", Video

Otto Link Reso Chamber tenor saxophone mouthpiece, s/n M19. This mouthpiece was previously owned by a NJ based professional saxophonist. The tip was damaged and repaired before DC Sax acquired it. The filler used is an off-white compound that appears to be the same material as the custom baffle.

I reached out to Phil Barone, who verified that this was his refacing and repair work. His reputation as a mouthpiece maker and refacer is top notch, and his refaced mouthpieces rarely come up for sale. This one was originally stamped 4*. Phil opened it up to .105" and added a custom baffle.

For the last couple of years, this mouthpiece has been owned by a saxophonist in The Air Force Band Airmen of Note, who used it as his primary tenor piece. Phil's custom work gives this piece the best of both worlds. It still has a gorgeous vintage Link sound and feel, but with some extra brightness and sizzle.

Don't let the previous repair work scare you off. This is a legit world class player, and its next owner will not be disappointed.
