I'm also including a Gregory mouthpiece that came along with the horn. I thought it fitting to let the new owner enjoy this rare and desirable mouthpiece with a horn that is perfectly matched to it. This is the early 1930's version, which is what Paul Desmond played on. It's in great condition and plays very well with beautiful focus and precision. The table, tip and rails are nearly flawless, but I'd encourage you to take a look at my website, dcsax.com for close-up pictures of the mouthpiece since I am unable to post additional pics here.
The sax has a gorgeous sound which the best SBA's capture. The action still feels new, even after 63 years. The horn comes in an almost mint condition Chesterfield triple case with the clarinet case insert. Also included is the original wooden end plug, vintage cap and ligature.
I invite you to try this horn risk free. US buyers are free to return the sax for any reason, provided you pay shipping and insurance both ways and pay a $50 restocking fee. The restocking fee and round trip travel usually necessitates a return to the repair shop.
