This has an early three digit serial number, which is in fantastic condition considering its age. Cosmetically, there are a few light scratches here and there and some very shallow dings on the bow. Otherwise, this horn could almost pass for new.
This horn was owned by a local professional who kept his horns in top playing condition. The pads are like new and seal well. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The sax comes in its original case, which is missing one of the two handles. If you're looking for a vintage Purple Label Yamaha, you'll be hard pressed to find a better example out there.
