Selmer Jubilee Series II Alto Saxophone
Selmer Jubilee Series II alto saxophone, s/n 752342. This is a great playing Series II, with a very even timbre and excellent response throughout the entire range, all the way down to low Bb. The pads are in like new condition and seal well across the horn. The saxophone comes in its original case, which is also in great condition.
The Series II has been in production for 40 years and has been Selmer's most popular professional model. The Jubilee is Selmer's updated version of the Series II, with subtle improvements from the original design. It has a redesigned octave key, a lightened bell to body brace to increase resonance, and slightly longer tone holes to improve intonation and response. This is also when Selmer transitioned to exclusively using Pisoni Pro pads, which many consider to be the best in the industry.
