Selmer Mark VI Soprano Saxophone, 99% Original Lacquer, Video
Selmer Mark VI soprano saxophone, s/n 222370. This sax has its original coat of lacquer, and 99%+ remains. The overall condition is excellent. The bell flare appears to have a ding that was previously removed, but otherwise it is dent free. My tech just serviced this horn, replacing 5 pads, 9 corks and 3 felts. The pads are sealing well and the horn plays very well in all registers.
This horn really captures what a Mark VI is capable of. There's an immediacy to the response, but there's also a ton of depth to the sound. It has a beautiful, warm tone.
