Selmer Reference 54 Alto Saxophone, Near Mint
Selmer Reference 54 alto saxophone, s/n 812058. This sax is in near mint condition and has zero dings or dents. There are a couple very shallow scratches on the bow, but otherwise it's perfect. The pads are also in perfect, unused condition and are sealing very well.
Selmer introduced the Reference 54 in an attempt to capture the essence of a 1954 Mark VI, but with modern keywork and intonation. The result is a refined sound that has a lot of warmth and projection. This is a fantastic crossover horn that is capable of playing both jazz and classical styles at a high level.
