Selmer Series II Alto Saxophone, Just Serviced
Selmer Series II alto saxophone, s/n 711917. This is Selmer's top of the line professional saxophone, which I believe was manufactured around 2007. My repairman just serviced the horn and replaced 3 pads and 2 key corks. He adjusted the remaining pads so that they seal well. I can get around effortlessly in all registers. The sax has a fair amount of oxidation and missing lacquer. The sax was previously located on the Gulf coast, which likely caused the lacquer to look like this. Of course, missing and darker lacquer doesn't affect how it plays. The sax comes in its original case, which is made by Bam.
