Selmer Series II tenor saxophone with an upgraded Series III neck. This is a top of the line professional saxophone that is the most popular pro model sold in the US. These have an enormous sound and are extremely easy to play in all registers and dynamic levels. Plus, the neck has been upgraded to a Series III neck, that more closely mimics the geometry of a Mark VI neck. There's less swoop on the Series III neck vs the Series II neck. Sonically, the III neck has a more focused, pure sound than the Series II neck, which can get to be a touch bright. This is a great combination, and this saxophone sounds fantastic with the upgraded neck.

There is some lacquer loss from regular playing, but overall the sax is in fine condition. My repairman just serviced the sax, so the pads seal perfectly and everything feels very tight. Low Bb to high F# is a breeze on this horn.
