Selmer Series III Soprano Saxophone, Near Mint Condition
Selmer Series III soprano saxophone. This has been my personal soprano saxophone since I purchased it new from the Elkhart, Indiana Selmer factory in 1999. I chose it over 11 other soprano saxophones, and spent just as much time comparing necks at the factory. I think this is an incredible Series III, and easily the best example of this model I've ever tried. The tone and response is impeccably even and clear throughout the entire range of the horn. There is an extra ring or presence to the sound that the very best Selmers capture. The saxophone has been regularly maintained and is playing perfectly right now. This has been a bit difficult for me to sell this saxophone as it's been with me for so many years. However, I've recently switched brands for most of my soprano work, so I'm passing this beautiful horn onto the next owner. If you're in the market for a Series III, I don't think you can do better than this one.
