Yamaha Custom 82Z Tenor Saxophone Unlacquered YTS-82ZU C-Series Near Mint!
Yamaha Custom 82Z tenor saxophone with an unlacquered finish. In my opinion, this is the very best tenor saxophone model out there. I adore this saxophone for both classical and jazz styles. This is a C-series, which means it is one of the newer versions of the 82Z (I'd estimate that it's about 7-8 years old). The pads are in excellent shape and everything is sealing perfectly. The overall condition is near mint. You can tell that this one was only lightly used, as the original shininess of the saxophone still exists in many places (look around the bow for this extra shininess). This has the unlacquered finish, which is a rare finish that is usually only available as a special order. Compared side by side, the unlacuqered version has a bit more presence and tonal complexity to it. This is my favorite version of the 82Z. Of course, you have to be into how it looks, but in the end, the end result is one of the very best saxophones, of any era, on the market today.
