Yamaha Custom YAS-82ZiiUL Alto Saxophone, s/n E62463. The 82Zii is Yamaha’s update to the original 82Z. Yamaha kept the qualities players loved about the first version and made subtle refinements that make a real difference. The 82Zii features metal resonators, a one-piece bell, and a V1 neck, all of which add depth, projection, and quick response.
This saxophone is in excellent condition. It was previously owned by a longtime customer who takes great care of his instruments. The pads are in great shape with plenty of life left, and the horn plays easily in all registers.
The 82Zii has a big, projecting sound with solid depth and color. The altissimo speaks cleanly and with precision.
