Yamaha Custom YAS-82ZIIA alto saxophone, s/n F69001. This is a beautiful example of Yamaha’s Custom alto in the newer amber finish, and it is in virtually unplayed condition. The previous owner only used it a handful of times before I acquired it, and the sax still presents very much like new.
The pads are in new condition and sealing very well throughout the horn. This is the updated version of the 82ZII, fitted with Pisoni Pro pads, which are excellent pads and a nice feature on this model. They have a great feel under the fingers and should hold up very well over time. The sax comes in its original case, which is also in excellent condition.
