Yamaha Custom YAS-875EX Alto Saxophone, Near Mint, V1 neck
YAS-875EX Yamaha Custom alto saxophone. In my opinion, this is the best alto saxophone Yamaha makes. They are incredible horns. I play on the same model for most of my alto work, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
This sax is in near mint condition. There are no dents and very few light scratches. The horn was just serviced, so all pads are sealing perfectly and in like new condition. The action is fast and quiet, and the horn speaks effortlessly down to low Bb. The sax comes in the original case which is in good condition.
Included with this sax is a new/never used V1 neck. Yamaha recently began shipping the 875EX model with a V1 neck, which is a remarkable improvement from the older G1 neck. With a V1 neck, the palm keys speak better, and the entire range pops with a bit more color and energy. It definitely puts this 875EX into a different category of horn.
