Yamaha Custom YSS-875 soprano saxophone, s/n 7690. This is Yamaha's top of the line professional model soprano saxophone, and the same model that I play on professionally. In my opinion, this is the best soprano being made today. The intonation is impeccable, the sound is direct but warm and rich, and the ergonomics are a huge upgrade from just about any other soprano out there. My repairman just serviced the sax. He replaced the neck cork on the curved neck, changed one key cork and regulated the pads. The sax is playing very well and plays effortlessly in all registers.
