Yamaha 52 alto saxophone. This sax is an older version with a purple Yamaha label, which is the much more desirable version known for its excellent tone. These are wonderful intermediate or step-up horns that are a tremendous value if you're looking for a horn on a budget. My repairman just serviced this horn, so it is playing very well currently. The sound is very even and the sax projects very well.
