How to sell your saxophone See the altos in stockYanagisawa 991 alto saxophone, s/n 256776. The 991 is considered Yanagisawa's top of the line professional saxophone. This is the gold lacquered version, versus the 992, which is made from bronze. Compared to the 992, this is a touch brighter with slightly better projection. It's an outstanding pro horn that I feel is in the same quality level as the professional models from Selmer Paris and Yamaha. My tech just serviced the horn, so it's playing very well from top to bottom. The pads are in excellent condition and have a lot of life left in them.
