Yanagisawa A-9930 Alto Saxophone, Just Serviced, Video
Yanagisawa A-9930 alto saxophone, s/n 193065. This is Yanagisawa's top of the line professional saxophone which has a solid silver body and neck. The keys and bell are gold lacquered. This is a striking horn both visually and sonically. The solid silver components add a ton of warmth but also projection to the sound. It's a very engaging horn to play that incredibly responsive and expressive.
This sax was previously owned by a professional saxophonist. It was overhauled approximately two years ago, and the pads are still in excellent condition. The pads are black roo pads and have riveted domed metal resonators. My tech just serviced the horn, ensuring that the pads are sealing perfectly. The sax feels very dialed in, and is playing extremely well.
