Yanagisawa T-990 tenor saxophone, s/n 191430. The A-990 was Yanagisawa’s top professional alto in the 1990s and the model that came right before the A-991. It has a lot of the same qualities people like in the later horns—smooth keywork, even intonation, and a really solid, reliable feel. Compared with earlier Yanagisawas, it feels a little more focused and centered, but still has that warm, flexible tone the brand is known for.

My repairman just serviced the sax, so the pads are sealing well and it's ready to go. The pads are still in excellent condition with a lot of life left in them. The sax comes in its original case.
